I’m definitely feeling a little bit more sparkle today and it’s amazing have had nothing much planned for the weekend except for try to get rest for the new week and finishing up a few blog topic that have been hanging for ages on draft. This particular post was meant to be published in the first week of January.
So I have my new Year resolutions and goal which I tend to not share because of the pressure that comes with doing so. For me the start of the new year tends to be an overwhelming experience. I remember the last two years being the worst, I remember working myself down that by the end of March I was extremely worn out that it literally felt like it was November, since then I try to view new year resolutions differently.
I have my goals, plans and dreams that I would like to see myself accomplish for both my career and personal growth but in my own pace. Have learned that it’s okay to slow down for a minute and breath, it’s okay to struggle with setting my goal or working towards them it’s okay to fail and it’s okay to take a break.
Although I still struggle with managing my free time have found a few ways that have worked for me, like now I know I get anxious and frustrated when I’m tired, so part of the plan is getting enough rest, using planner to manage my free time and setting priorities.
If you are struggling with the new year transition like I do, I hope you take it one day at a time, wake up every morning with the inward desire to be a better person than you were yesterday and remember it’s okay to not have it all figured out. Wishing you kindness for the rest of the year.
